Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Noir and
Most Crémants ("blancs de blancs") are made from Pinot Blanc, which
gives them a delicate suppleness. Riesling adds to the Crémant a fruity
note, lively, elegant and noble. Pinot Gris gives the Crémant its body
and structure; and finally, Chardonnay gives it a light, but
Pinot Noir is the only variety used to make rosé Crémant or "blanc de
noirs", which is a white Crémant made with black grapes, both products
offering an exceptional refinement and charm.
